IN DETAIL, YOUR SUCCESS IN THIS JOB WILL BE
- Expertly driving SEO effort for OG and CQ, and organic growth initiatives for them.
- Effectively improving website architecture, enhancing site speed, optimizing URL structures, and managing technical SEO elements on platforms like Shopify and Webflow.
- Fruitfully collaborating with content mates to create SEO-friendly content, identifying gaps, and leveraging AI-powered tools (if any) to drive organic traffic growth.
- Successfully developing and executing white-hat link-building strategies to increase domain authority while establishing relationships with key influencers and partners.
- Efficiently utilizing AI tools and staying ahead of SEO and AI trends to refine strategies and predict emerging opportunities.
- Diligently enhancing visibility for mobile-first indexing and voice search platforms to keep pace with new technologies.
- Meticulously monitoring key SEO performance metrics and providing detailed reports to the Marketing Manager and Chief of Staff to track progress towards aggressive traffic goals.
- Staying abreast of the latest SEO trends, platform updates, and best practices to continuously improve campaign strategies and stay competitive in a fast-evolving digital landscape.
- Fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Marketing team and across functions.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS JOB
- 5-7 years of SEO experience, with proven success in driving organic traffic growth and improving search rankings. Your resume or portfolio needs to showcase a project where you successfully improved organic traffic and search rankings through clean SEO practices and strategic initiatives.
- Expertise in integrating AI-powered SEO tools and staying updated on the latest AI technologies.
- Proficiency with key SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Search Console.
- Strong technical SEO skills, including expertise with Shopify and Webflow platforms, and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, translate findings into actionable strategies, and adjust to search engine algorithm updates proactively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience reporting to leadership and explaining SEO strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and autonomous work ethic, with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive informed marketing decisions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
