This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your role
As Senior Analyst, SEO, you will be responsible for optimizing content and technical SEO to boost visibility of search results, improve click-through rates and, ultimately, drive more traffic to Radio-Canada sites and apps. Key responsibilities:
- Develop new SEO growth initiatives for Radio-Canada properties (such as ICI TOU.TV and OHdio) and measure their performance.

- Ensure content optimization (metadata, internal links, formats, redirections, etc.).
- Monitor search trends with GSC and Ahrefs to identify trending content and opportunities.
- Conduct keyword searches.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify market opportunities.
- Develop and provide regular reports on search performance.
- Monitor changes made to search engine algorithms and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.
- Monitor the latest SEO news and developments, and share them across the organization.
- Help share best SEO practices within the design/UX, development and editorial teams.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Five years’ SEO and content strategy experience in a digital organization.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of AI and automation tools.
- Experience working in a media organization an asset.
- Excellent command of written French.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush or other SEO tools.
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace tools.
- Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
We thank all applicants for their interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
As part of our recruitment process, candidates who advance to the next
step will be asked to complete a background check. This includes:
- A mandatory Criminal record check.
- Other background checks may be conducted based on the operational requirements of the position.
