As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing our clients’ digital success.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to law firms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, link-building strategies, and local SEO, with a track record of improving search rankings for competitive keywords and outside-the-box strategies to drive relevant traffic to clients’ websites. This position is fully remote but is required to work Monday to Friday during business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective SEO strategies for law firm websites to improve organic search visibility.
• Keyword Research & Optimization: Conduct in-depth keyword research to target high-value search terms for personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and other legal practice areas.
• On-Page Optimization: Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headers, content, internal linking, and structured data for improved search rankings.
• Technical SEO: Audit websites for issues related to crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile usability, and Core Web Vitals. Work with developers to implement fixes.
• Local SEO & Google Business Profile (GBP) Management: Optimize law firm GBP listings, manage local citations, and execute local link-building strategies.
• Content SEO Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to identify blog topics, optimize blog posts, practice area pages, and landing pages expand firm reach and drive leads.
• Link Building & Outreach: Develop white-hat link-building strategies to increase rankings and drive referral traffic.
• SEO Analytics & Reporting: Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other SEO tools to track performance and provide actionable insights.
• Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the legal marketing space.
• Stay Updated on SEO Trends: Monitor algorithm changes, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve SEO strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in SEO (preferably in the legal or professional services industry).
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and BrightLocal.
• Strong understanding of E-E-A-T, Google’s ranking factors, and algorithm updates.
• Experience with WordPress.
• Knowledge of local SEO best practices for law firms, including citation management and local link-building.
• Understanding of schema / structured data best practices for local businesses & law firms.
• Experience with AI, including ChatGPT, Gemini & Perplexity a big plus.
• Ability to analyze data and generate/execute actionable recommendations.
• Experience working with content teams, web developers, and PPC specialists to align marketing efforts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
