Primary Functions:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, focusing on technical SEO, on-page optimization, and link-building initiatives.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and AI search trend monitoring to identify SEO opportunities.
- Optimize web pages for search engines, including content, images, metadata, and internal linking, while considering AI-driven search trends and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Bard).
- Collaborate with social media team to align SEO strategies with content distribution, social sharing, and engagement to maximize search visibility.
- Partner with content creation team to ensure content is optimized for both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search tools.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits and implement fixes as needed, including optimization for evolving search engine behavior and mobile-first indexing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including social media, paid marketing, and development to ensure comprehensive digital alignment.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and internships.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, AI search, and ranking methods
- Demonstrable experience with website and content management platforms (WordPress) and basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO and AI-performance tools
- Understanding of technical SEO, including mobile-first indexing, website architecture, and page speed optimization
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Job Requirements:
- Remote/work-at-home opportunity.
