SEO/SEM Specialist – NON-REMOTE POSITION

Welcome to Lum’s! We are a high-volume, fast-paced, rapidly growing Dealership Group that has been serving customers since 1969. With continued prosperity and growth, Lum’s Auto Center in Warrenton, Oregon is looking to grow its marketing team. With three dealerships within our umbrella, we are always busy and having fun!

The Lum Family of Dealerships is looking for someone with exemplary communication, customer service and listening skills to join our team of professionals as SEO/SEM Specialist. The ideal candidate is experienced, has a proven track record of implementing effective SEO/SEM strategies, maintains and values impeccable relationships with the entire team, and is willing to travel between our dealerships to meet company objectives. This role will involve conducting keyword research, implementing on-page and off-page optimization strategies, competitive research, and analyzing website performance metrics. Lead paid search, SEO, re-targeting, digital/online advertising, email & website marketing execution. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of SEO/SEM principles and best practices with a focus on the automotive industry. Responsibilities:

SEO

  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and keyword research
  • Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and image alt tags
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
  • Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Develop and execute content strategies
  • Monitor and analyze all website, email, and digital marketing efforts and performance with tools such as Google Analytics
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools for keyword research, competitor analysis, and performance tracking
  • Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization
  • Provide recommendations for website improvements based on SEO best practices
  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate SEO into overall marketing initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates
  • Work with in-house staff to execute SEO & SEM campaigns
  • Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
  • Track campaign results, adjust, and optimize the digital efforts

SEM

  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Evaluate and create KPIs for digital marketing campaigns
  • Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns

Misc.

  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
  • Collaborate with current Digital Advertising agency to plan and execute monthly strategy, including but not limited to, paid search, display, email, streaming and SEO
  • Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, and display advertising campaigns
  • Identify problems and deficiencies and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Suggest improvements for process and productivity optimization
  • Identify our buyer persona to better target identified audiences
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Our dealerships include Lum’s Auto Center in Warrenton, Oregon, Lum’s GMC in McMinnville, Oregon, Walla Walla Toyota and Blue Mountain Powersports in Walla Walla, Washington. Our Marketing team is based out of our Warrenton, Oregon headquarters location; however, we are open to considering top candidates who reside within a reasonable distance of one of our dealerships.

Qualifications

Our top candidate will have experience with the following:

  • Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console
  • Digital marketing strategies, including SEM and e-commerce optimization
  • Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools for keyword research, competitor analysis, and performance tracking
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2+ years of marketing or agency experience or equivalent
  • 2+ years of prior SEO/SEM experience
