Job Title: SEO Manager
Location: Hybrid (one day in our office in Cheltenham with the remainder WFH)
Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (flexible)
Salary: Pro-rata at £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEO Manager to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic to our website. You will work closely with the client and the rest of the Digital team to ensure that all SEO best practices are implemented across all digital channels. Additionally, you need to be comfortable with client account management, as building and maintaining strong client relationships will be a key part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with clients:
- Understand client needs and align strategies with their goals.
- Work with clients to identify opportunities and refine strategies for growth.
- Provide expert guidance, regular updates, and actionable insights.
Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Identify and prioritise high-value keywords.
- Perform on-page and off-page SEO optimisations.
- Track, monitor, and analyse website traffic and keyword rankings.
- Generate regular reports on SEO performance and progress.
Content Strategy:
- Collaborate with content creators to develop high-quality, SEO-optimised content.
- Optimise existing website content for search engines.
- Ensure all content aligns with the SEO strategy and target keywords.
Technical SEO:
- Ensure website technical SEO best practices are implemented, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and proper indexing.
- Work with the development team to implement technical SEO recommendations.
- Identify and resolve website technical issues that impact search engine rankings.
Reporting:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO reporting.
- Analyse website traffic data, keyword rankings, and conversion rates to identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare insightful and actionable reports on SEO performance for clients.
- Present data-driven findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in SEO performance and recommend strategic adjustments.
Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and best practices:
- Attend industry conferences and webinars.
- Conduct ongoing research and stay informed about algorithm updates and industry news.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with managing client accounts.
- Proven experience in SEO, with ideally minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
