About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, data-driven SEO Manager who can take ownership of our organic growth strategy, leveraging the latest AI-powered SEO techniques and optimizing for search engines and LLMs (like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity).
💰 Performance-based bonus tied directly to revenue from SEO-driven traffic.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute our entire SEO strategy, from technical optimization to content and backlinks.
- Optimize for LLM discovery & retrieval—ensure DocuClipper is surfaced in AI-powered search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.).
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, SurferSEO, MarketMuse, RankIQ) to automate content creation, keyword research, and competitive analysis.
- Manage and update our WordPress site, ensuring technical SEO best practices (site structure, schema, Core Web Vitals, etc.).
- Develop and scale our content strategy, working with AI and writers to create high-converting, SEO-optimized pages.
- Drive backlink acquisition, building relationships and securing high-quality links.
- Use engineering resources to build internal SEO dashboards, AI-powered automation tools, and large-scale keyword tracking systems.
- Analyze and report on SEO performance, using GA4, Ahrefs, GSC, Python for SEO automation, and other tools to track rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Stay ahead of SEO trends, AI search updates, and algorithm changes, testing and implementing new strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record of driving traffic and revenue.
- Experience optimizing for LLMs & AI search engines (not just Google).
- Strong technical SEO expertise—comfortable with schema, site speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, indexing issues.
- Growth-focused, data-driven mindset—you should be obsessed with tracking results and making data-backed decisions.
- AI-first approach—experience using ChatGPT, Claude, SurferSEO, or other AI-driven SEO tools.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers—you’ll have support to build tools, automate processes, and scale SEO efforts.
- Strong backlinking skills—knows how to earn quality links at scale.
- Startup mindset—fast-moving, scrappy, and adaptable.
