JOB SUMMARY:

The SEO & Insights Manager is responsible for executing and optimizing SEO and digital strategies for Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) and Hospitality accounts. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Media Teams, Internal Account Teams, and clients, to ensure optimal site performance through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. This position will support the Director of Strategy & Insights with streamlining SEO and Analytics operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Director of Strategy & Insights in managing daily operations and long-term strategy for SEO and Analytics.
  • Lead the development and execution of SEO recommendations, providing strategic guidance to internal and client teams.
  • Stay ahead of trends in SEO, LLMs, Analytics, and the travel industry to inform strategy and provide insights.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to generate actionable recommendations that drive business objectives.
  • Present findings and strategies to senior leadership and clients, delivering clear, concise, and data-backed insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic recommendations and optimize site performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-year undergraduate degree (strongly preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on Organic Search or Analytics
  • Strong knowledge of DMO and hospitality industries (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of website development
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills – you should excel at Excel
  • Solid foundation in marketing principles, technology platforms, and implementation
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to small groups
  • The ability to digest and distill complex technical information and express it in layman’s terms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient in Google’s suite (GA4, Looker Studio, Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc…)
  • Ability to lead client presentations and meetings in an organized, thoughtful manner
  • Capable of managing workflow while coordinating with project teams and leadership on objectives and timelines
  • Able to prioritize tasks efficiently and balance strategic and tactical considerations
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with a capacity to perform under tight deadlines
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • SEO Tools: Proficient with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Atarget=”_blank” hrefs, or Moz
  • HTML/CSS: Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for website optimization and troubleshooting
  • Website Development: Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms
  • Regex: Experience with Regular Expressions (Regex) for pattern matching and data extraction in analytics tools
  • SQL: Basic understanding of SQL for querying databases and analyzing large datasets
  • JavaScript: Understanding of JavaScript for implementing tracking scripts and optimizing site performance
  • Tag Management: Experience with Tag Management Systems like Google Tag Manager for managing and deploying marketing tags
  • A/B Testing Tools: Experience with tools like Optimizely, Google Optimize, or similar for running and analyzing A/B tests

Travel: Occasional travel required, including intra and interstate trips, potentially involving overnight stays.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing. Ability to operate standard office equipment (computers, printers, telephones).

LOCATION: This is a remote position open to candidates in the United States. #LI-Remote

COMPENSATION: $65,000-$80,000 DOE
