Job Description: As a Content Writer at Lexigate, you will be critical in creating SEO-optimized content that drives traffic, increases engagement, and improves search engine rankings. You will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing high-quality content tailored to our clients’ target audiences and optimized for relevant keywords. Your work will directly impact the success of our clients’ SEO campaigns, making you an essential part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate content for various digital platforms using AI tools like ChatGPT.
- Edit and optimize AI-generated content for SEO, including keyword placement, anchor text, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking.
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant terms and phrases that enhance content visibility in search engines.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists and content strategists to refine AI-generated content to meet clients’ SEO objectives and maintain brand voice.
- Collaborate with SEO Specialists to create SEO-optimized metadata and other on-page SEO content elements.
- Perform content audits and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing AI-generated content for better SEO performance.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and AI content generation tools to keep content competitive.
- Analyze content performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
- Manage content calendars and ensure the timely delivery of AI-assisted content projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience as a Content Writer, particularly with a focus on SEO, and familiarity with AI content generation tools like ChatGPT.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, including on-page optimization, keyword research, and content structuring.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to refine and optimize AI-generated content to align with SEO best practices and brand guidelines.
- Strong research skills and the ability to produce and edit content on various topics.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in an SEO agency or digital marketing environment is a plus.
Mandatory Written Test: As part of the application process, all candidates are required to complete a written test. This will consist of:
- Writing a 700-word article on a topic we will provide, focusing on SEO optimization.
- Editing an already written article to improve its SEO performance and overall quality.
- Optimizing a small sample batch of meta data.
