The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a naturally competitive person who likes to use data and analytics to win new business to join our talented Marketing team as an SEO & Content Specialist.
The Role
In this role, you will leverage your love of analyzing data and your ability to write engaging copy to build a successful SEO strategy that generates leads for our business. Some of the items you’ll be responsible for include:
- SEO strategy development, including keyword research, competitor analysis, link building, and on-page optimization, to help our product and service brands reach the top of Google search results and generate more leads.
- Telling brand stories by creating high-quality, original, and creative content for various formats and channels, including blog articles, website copy, and more.
- Using SEO tracking tools to analyze data and make recommendations to our SEO strategy based on your analysis.
- Coaching your teammates on writing content that ranks in search engines.
- Interviewing subject matter experts who are part of our team, part of other organizations, or are clients to gain insight and understanding of technical topics on which to produce content.
- Researching industry trends, best practices, and latest advances in learning and development, eLearning, and online training.
- Collaborating with other team members across the organization, including sales, product, and client success, to brainstorm ideas and align content strategies to business objectives.
Success in this role is simple: our website visibility increases, our position in Google rises, and more leads are generated!
The Right Candidate
- You have experience creating and executing an SEO strategy for B2B that demonstrates success in generating leads.
- You are an expert in writing and storytelling for B2B brands.
- You love watching and analyzing data on how our SEO strategies are performing in the market, and you are agile in adjusting strategies when necessary. You just love to win!
- You have previous experience using search engine management tools.
- You have experience using Google Analytics.
- You have an aptitude for understanding new technology.
- You pride yourself in paying great attention to detail.
- You can prioritize tasks and re-prioritize them as your workload changes and manage tasks being assigned in various ways.
- You enjoy collaborating with teammates, are open to constructive feedback, and enjoy learning new things.
- You are comfortable interviewing clients or team members to extract knowledge and ideas for content.
- You are a strong and fluent communicator in verbal and written English.
- You are legally entitled to work in Canada.
