Cognism is a market leader in international sales intelligence. Access to our premium data, has helped a wide variety of global revenue teams change their approach to prospecting, resulting in predictable and prosperous outcomes.

Following multiple successful funding rounds and the acquisition of Mailtastic (2020), an email signature solution provider, and Kaspr (2022), a Paris-based sales prospecting tool, there has never been a more exciting time to join us.

As we grow, one of our main objectives is to continue hiring individuals, who are both a professional and cultural fit for our Company. Our values are at the core of everything we do!

Our people:

  • Are Nice!
  • Are Collaborative. We’re in this together!
  • Are Solution-Focused. For every problem, we’ve got a solution!
  • Are Understanding.
  • Celebrate Individual Contributors.

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive global workplace, which encourages you to achieve any goals you may have, while having fun along the way!

Your Role:

In this role, you’ll be a key part of the Cognism content engine. You’ll help us scale quality content to drive real results, like increasing MQLs, organic traffic, and revenue.

SEO is critical to us, and you’ll collaborate with other departments like Demand Generation, Paid, and PMM to identify new opportunities and ensure content is SEO optimized.

Ultimately, you’ll work to put Cognism on the map as *the* go-to place for B2B Sales and Marketing content that enables teams to do their jobs better.

You will be:

An exceptional writer – You won’t just love writing; you’ll absolutely adore it! You’ll be proficient in crafting engaging, compelling, and optimized copy for websites, blogs, rich text snippets, and be aware of generative AI.

Versatile and adaptable – No two days in Cognism’s SEO team are the same! You’ll be asked to devise and execute content plans based on data.

An SEO superstar – Our content strategy is built on SEO. You’ll have a solid working knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, competitor analysis, onpage, and offpage SEO.

Organized – Cognism is a fastpaced and demanding business. You’ll need to be good at managing your time, working to deadlines, and seeing projects through from ideation to completion.

Curious – Every day at Cognism, you’ll learn something new. You’ll have an inquisitive mind, wanting to know how people and processes work. Much of our content is based on insights from internal and external thought leaders, so some journalistic ability is required.

Collaborative and inclusive – Cognism’s SEO team is a diverse, closeknit, and supportive group of people. We value good team players who are passionate about learning, sharing their knowledge, and working alongside others.

Analytical – Cognism’s marketing team thrives on data. You’ll be confident in delving into the SEO tech stack, tracking metrics, producing reports, gaining insights, and using them to improve your work.

Technical – Cognism’s SEO team works with a variety of tools. You’ll have experience using Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and HubSpot—or at the very least, you’ll be excited to learn all about them.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Writing, editing, and briefing content in line with Cognism’s brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Taking an editorial approach to content. At Cognism, we do content differently.
  • We want to ensure we create the *best* content for sales and marketing professionals.
  • Delivering SEO strategies through keyword research and content creation.
  • Optimizing onpage elements across your blogs, including H1 tags, internal links, metadata, and Schema markup.
  • Working on offpage SEO like backlinks, surroundsound SEO, and guest blogging.
  • Reporting on core SEO metrics.
  • Mentoring junior colleagues and helping them develop their SEO skills.
  • Understanding content’s revenue impact, analyzing it, and focusing efforts on areas that deliver maximum impact.

Your Required Skills / Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of grammar and exceptional written communication skills.
  • A hustler with an editorial mindset. You will always be searching for the next best ‘story’ and contributor, not afraid to reach out directly and build a network of all star B2B Sales and Marketing influencers to use in your content.
  • Experience in devising and optimizing SEO and content plans.
Up-to-date knowledge of SEO principles, techniques, trends, and best practices.
  • Comfortable using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and HubSpot.
  • An understanding of the B2B sales/marketing industries.
  • Curiosity about the world around you and how businesses/technologies work.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Self motivated — you aren’t afraid to ask questions when you need to understand something, but you’ll always try to figure out the answer on your own first.
  • An analytical mindset — comfortable working with numbers and data, setting performance metrics, and tracking them.

Note: This role is hybrid and will require weekly attendance at our London Bridge based office.

We look forward to hearing from you!
