The Role
We are seeking an SEO Consultant to join our team. This role combines technical expertise with strategic vision, focusing on driving organic growth, improving website performance, and aligning SEO initiatives with client business objectives.
As an SEO Consultant, you will:
- Be the go-to expert on SEO strategies, tools, and best practices.
- Optimise client websites for search engine performance, ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients to maximise their online visibility and organic growth.
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and develop actionable strategies for client websites.
- Optimise on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to improve rankings and increase organic traffic.
- Drive high-quality backlink acquisition strategies, improving domain authority.
- Collaborate with content, development, and paid media teams to align SEO strategies with broader digital marketing goals.
- Monitor search engine algorithms, industry trends, and competitors to stay ahead of the curve.
- Report on performance, using analytics to refine strategies and provide clients with actionable insights.
- Support the development of scalable processes and best practices for SEO delivery.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy and Implementation
- Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to client objectives, focusing on technical, on-page, and off-page optimisation.
- Conduct audits, gap analyses, and competitor research to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct detailed competitive analysis to identify gaps, leverage opportunities, and refine client strategies to stay ahead in the market.
- Build and implement link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
Technical SEO
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, providing clear recommendations to developers.
- Monitor and adapt to changes in search engine algorithms to maintain performance.
- Ensure websites are optimised for performance, including speed, mobile usability, and accessibility.
Client Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact for client SEO initiatives.
- Provide regular updates, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
- Train and enable clients to use SEO tools and implement best practices.
Reporting and Analytics
- Generate detailed SEO performance reports with actionable insights.
- Track KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, bounce rate, and conversions to measure success and refine strategies.
- Use tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to monitor performance and refine strategies.
Process Improvement
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in workflows and tools to streamline SEO delivery
- Contribute to the development of internal SEO processes, templates, and workflows.
- Share knowledge with the team, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques, integrating them into client strategies.
- Stay updated on AI-driven SEO tools and emerging automation techniques to enhance efficiencies and identify new growth opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Experience and Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical SEO, content optimisation, and link building.
- Proficiency in SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Agency experience or experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.
