Ayima
Company Description
Ayima is a multi-award-winning SEO agency based in Europe, North America, and Asia. It serves some of the world’s biggest brands. Committed to driving measurable results and ROI, Ayima’s reputation is built on technical expertise and cutting-edge technology. With a client-first approach, Ayima’s team focuses on delivering best-in-class SEO performance through strategic advice, tactical support, and effective execution.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an SEO Consultant who will work with Ayima’s UK contracted clients, focusing on North American markets. As part of a small, highly technical team, the candidate will be responsible for conducting SEO audits, keyword research, troubleshooting website issues, GA4 insights, and supporting clients in driving their organic search performance. Our consultants work on just 2-4 client accounts each, allowing them to really delve into each brand and feel like part of their in-house team (but with the variety of work which agency-side offers).
The role would ideally suit an American or Canadian candidate with knowledge of the local markets and the ability to join client calls between 2pm and 6pm GMT/London time. However, experience in and knowledge of North American markets is more important than location/nationality.
We have the ability to employ candidates residing in the UK, US, Canada or EU.
What we would like
- We hire purely based on your level of SEO knowledge – no formal qualifications are required
- 5+ years of commercial SEO experience is preferred – agency, in-house, freelance or a mix
- A genuine passion for SEO, developing your own opinions/theories, testing them and having evidence to back them up
- The ability to prioritise both your work and recommendations based on client feedback and what you expect to deliver the greatest returns for them
- Comfortable speaking directly with clients (sometimes very senior) and answering their SEO questions
- Take pride in your work and feel motivated to meet and beat your client’s expectations
- Happy working in a small flat team structure, where everybody shares the workload and the glory
- Experience in analysing and interpreting data to make strategic recommendations (SQL, BigQuery, Looker or being an Excel ninja is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
Nice to haves
- Experience with retail, consumer electronics, finance and/or gambling websites
- Presenting experience – either at SEO conferences, training days or large meetings
- Coding abilities – you’ve built tools to solve an SEO problem, automate a process or save time
