In this role, you will manage the company’s online presence, ensuring the corporate website is optimized for search engines, and driving organic traffic growth in a B2B environment. You will develop and implement SEO strategies, oversee website development, and improve user experience to support lead generation and customer engagement.

The SEO and Website Director will report to the Executive Director, Demand Generation. You’ll join our marketing department and collaborate closely with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure the website aligns with overall business goals.

We are looking for someone who with a deep knowledge of SEO best practices, a strong technical background in web development and a data-driven mindset. This individual will excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing complex website and SEO projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic search visibility, rankings, and traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and on-page optimization to enhance rankings.
  • Collaborate with the content team to optimize content for SEO, align with keyword strategies, manage the content calendar, make performance enhancing recommendations and manage link-building efforts to enhance domain authority and rankings.
  • Manage the overall structure, design, and functionality of the company’s website to ensure a user-friendly experience that supports business objectives.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to improve website performance, ensuring fast load times, mobile optimization, and a seamless user experience.
  • Ensuring the website is aligned with brand guidelines and optimized for lead generation through proper design, CTAs, and conversion paths.
  • Implement A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies, and UX/UI improvements to maximize engagement and lead conversion.
  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits, working with the development team to resolve issues such as broken links, crawl errors, and page speed issues, ensuring the website is compliant with technical best practices for SEO.
  • Track and report on key SEO metrics like organic traffic, conversation rates, and keyword rankings, optimizing SEO strategy and website performance using data insights and providing senior leadership with regular reports on SEO performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, or a related field required.
    7+ years of experience in SEO and website management required, preferably within a B2B context.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful SEO strategies that drive measurable business results.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimization, and web development best practices.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple website initiatives and meet deadlines.
