We’re Hiring: Senior SEO Specialist – Auckland (Hybrid)
We’re Pure SEO a digital agency based in Northcote, Auckland that’s big on culture, smart digital thinking and delivering great results for our clients. We’re also a Google Premier Partner, and we love what we do.
Right now, we’re looking for an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to join our growing team. Someone who’s not only technically savvy, but also confident with clients, comfortable leading strategy, and always up to date with the latest in SEO.
This role is all about helping businesses grow by improving their online visibility and doing it in a smart, strategic way.
What the role looks like
You’ll be managing a portfolio of clients and working with them to build out and execute strong SEO strategies. You’ll take the lead on technical SEO, content optimisation, reporting, and spotting new opportunities. You’ll work closely with our content, performance and web teams – and there’s always someone around to bounce ideas off.
You’ll be:
- Running audits, keyword research, and creating smart SEO plans
- Guiding clients and helping them understand what good SEO really looks like
- Tracking and reporting on what’s working (and what’s not)
- Optimising content, structure and internal linking
- Staying sharp on algorithm updates and SEO trends
- Helping mentor junior team members when needed
What we’re looking for
- Around 3+ years experience in a similar SEO role – agency experience is a bonus
- Solid technical and on-page SEO knowledge
- Comfortable using GA4, GSC, Tag Manager, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog etc
- Someone who genuinely enjoys collaborating with clients and teams
- Able to think strategically, but happy rolling up your sleeves too
- Great communicator – clear, honest and human
- Organised, curious, and always looking to learn
