Job Summary:
Our agency is looking for an SEO specialist to join the team on a contract or part time basis – it’s a great opportunity for someone who has an advanced understanding of SEO and is looking for challenging and creative projects where they can flex their SEO knowledge, while being given autonomy, respect and support needed for a successful relationship.
We offer a ‘full-service’ approach to SEO to our clients, meaning we bring in our internal development, design, linkbuilding and content teams to help our SEO managers run their campaigns.
The SEO role therefore is a combination of project management and SEO strategy. You’d be managing teams that implement your recommendations rather than doing them yourself.
Expertise:
Ideal candidate will have some experience with agency work in the past and an ability to project manage internal teams as well as clients expectations.
Our Work:
Our clients are primarily national b2b companies, saas startups, national service companies, and occasionally ecommerce ( Shopify and WordPress ). We specialize in working with “challenger” brands which are usually recently funded tech startups or Ecom brands that are trying to make a dent in their industries.
They generally have legitimate budgets that allow us to flex different parts of our team, and be creative with our solutions. But we’re often going up against larger industry competitors and need to be creative in how we approach SEO.
This role will require you to tailor campaigns to clients business goals, but our agency will support you with a staff of linkbuilders, designers, developers and content writers.
Majority of our work is focused on content SEO as we firmly believe that content is the way our clients can win. You’ll be working closely with authors and client content teams on tasks like:
– Hiring authors
– Training authors in voice, product & SEO
– Managing content calendars
– Content publishing workflows
– Landing page design & content

Compensation:
- We pay a fixed fee of $1,000 per client, this increases with every new client you take on by $100 for all clients.
- The expectation is around 15 – 20 hours per client per month depending on the workload.
Requirements:
- Ability to work US Pacific hours, many of our clients are in California.
- Fluent English as you’d be client facing.
