We’re hiring a Senior SEO Growth Lead to help us fulfill our mission. This is a full-time, remote-first position.
High Level
Reporting to the Director of Organic Growth, the Senior SEO Growth Lead owns the client relationship and strategy. You’ll be responsible for achieving the growth goals of our SEO client engagements, working collaboratively with the broader Organic Growth team and our clients’ internal teams. You’ll leverage a proficiency in holistic marketing strategy and deep experience in technical analysis, keyword research and implementation, content strategy, and analytics, along with client management chops.
Responsibilities
- Client Management—As the primary contact for a small portfolio of clients, you develop and oversee the execution of organic growth strategies that align with their business objectives. You maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, compile performance reports, and know how to balance setting a roadmap with adjusting to ongoing performance and requests. You’re comfortable with synchronous and asynchronous communication, ranging from written reports and emails to Looms and live video calls.
- SEO Strategy and Execution—You don’t just know how to do an audit and implement the findings, you are the driving force behind long-term growth strategies and can oversee its execution. You combine data analysis and SEO best practices to ensure your clients’ websites have a solid technical foundation and the right content to satisfy searchers throughout their user journey.
- Project Management—You have the technical chops to get in the weeds and execute the work yourself, but you’re also great at delegating to others and ensuring work gets done on time, on budget and up to standard.
- Holistic Marketing Integration—You know that rankings and organic traffic are just a means to an end, the real goal is conversions and revenue. While driving the right traffic is your specialty, you know how other parts of the organic growth puzzle fit together and how to work with specialists in email automation, A/B testing, and analytics.
Qualifications
The right person has 5-8 YEARS experience in the following:
- Client Management
- Project Management
- Keyword Research + Implementation
- Technical SEO
- Content Strategy
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- User Experience (UX) & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Analysis
- CMS management: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and/ or Hubspot.
- General marketing and/or web optimization strategy

You’ll serve as the “quarterback” for your accounts — calling the shots, delegating to strategists, and rallying the team around a shared vision for each client.
- You’re in on remote work – you understand the trade-offs of remote-first work and are comfortable delivering with a high level of autonomy.
- You’re a capable communicator—you know how to work across teams and how to get your message across, whether on Slack, Zoom or in person.

The estimated compensation range for this role is $80-95K CAD annually, depending on experience, skills, and market location. In addition to competitive pay, we offer:
