You will be working with an internal team under a lead that functions as an SEO helpdesk for a large international client in the hospitality sector with over 120 locations across the globe. The helpdesk receives a wide range of SEO related requests from locations on a daily basis via email and it is their responsibility to triage, process, and respond to all requests within 24 hours excluding weekends.
Minimum requirements
- International bank account that is registered in your name with an IBAN and Swift/BIC number.
- You provide your own machine that is capable of basic digital tasks such as emailing, spreadsheet processing, and attending video calls without interruption.
- You must have a reliable internet connection that is capable of providing video calls without interruption.
Responsibilities
- Incoming Requests Management: Efficiently handle incoming property requests by the Helpdesk Lead, ensuring timely and accurate response.
- Implement Meta Data Changes: Implement requests to amend HTML titles and meta descriptions on the client’s CMS (Content Management System) and check results once visible on the live site and rectify any errors.
- Page Changes Implementation: Submit implementation requests to the client’s web team to add or amend page content on the client’s website such as headings, body copy, and image alternative text. You will liaise with the client’s web team to ensure these changes are published in a timely manner and collaborate with your internal team on blocked issues. You will also check results once visible on the live site and identify any errors for immediate rectification by the client’s web team.
- Business Profile Management: Manage over 750 business profiles in Yext and Google Business Profile Manager, including onboarding new profiles, updating business profile details, and conducting bulk profile optimization such as adding new categories or services.
- Questionnaire Communication: Facilitate effective communication with properties to gather information about their products and services using a questionnaire, which can then be utilized to optimize their business profiles and improve online visibility.
Required skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision in task execution.
- Proficiency in working with data and spreadsheets.
- Proficiency in office or data based repetitive processes such as website management or data entry.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and external clients and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving best practices.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset for working within a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient ability to communicate effectively in English via email and messaging.
- Works from Europe.
The following skills are advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience in customer support or administrative roles.
- Familiarity with Google Business Profiles and other local SEO practices.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and techniques.
