About the role:
We are looking for a content marketing specialist to join the SingleCare team to help drive our content marketing program. This role is remote and is flexible on whether it is full time or part time. The content marketing specialist will work closely with the SEO and editorial teams to coordinate the production of new content and ensure it’s optimized.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee content production from start to finish, ensuring that we’re hitting our publishing targets
- Manage a content calendar to publish helpful content that will educate consumers on health issues
- Create briefs for articles and work with health writers to get briefs turned into articles
- Work with the SEO and content teams, writers, and reviewers to make sure content is helpful and accurate
- Edit and optimize content from health writers to ensure it performs well in Google and matches our brand voice
- Publish reviewed and optimized articles
- Monitor content performance and identify new content opportunities
- If the role is full time, there will likely be some content creation in addition to managing freelancers producing content
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a team player to dig in and help push SingleCare forward. For this role, we think that most applicants will have experience that looks like:
- 1-4 years of experience doing creating briefs and optimizing content
- Strong experience with tools like Clearscope, Content Harmony, or Frase
- Familiarity with Ahrefs or Semrush
- Familiarity with Google Analytics
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- A passion for learning and diving into new topics
- A self starter who thrives in a fast paced environment
