Growth Marketing Pro
This is a remote, contract-to-hire position. We have preference for candidates who can start immediately. This position is available to candidates who wish to work part-time (~20 hours per week) or full-time (~40 hours per week).
Growth Marketing Pro, a hyper-growth SEO + marketing agency is looking to hire a contractor to support the SEO and Content teams. We mainly need support for an an enterprise client in the health/wellness/pharmaceutical space.
Growth Marketing Pro began as a leading marketing blog and has since turned into a marketing agency working with 20+ technology businesses.
We’re growing like crazy and are looking to bring on an ambitious, detail-oriented contractor to help take our agency to the next level. This is an opportunity to help build an early-stage startup into an industry-leading growth marketing company.
What you’ll do:
The SEO/Content contractor will work alongside internal teams to execute SEO initiatives across a range of clients. This role will entail everything from content updates, outlining, writing and publishing content to conducting keyword research, writing metadata and other ad hoc projects. Strong attention to detail, communication, and prioritization are must-haves.
You’ll be accountable for:
- Rigorously managing and executing client deliverables on time
- Straddling competing priorities across GMP’s content engine and client deliverables
- Participating in client onboarding and training sessions
- Proactively communicating updates to clients + internal team
- Implementing feedback and continuously learning
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience with SEO and content principles and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong grasp of grammar, spelling, and syntax
- Ability to write in different tones and styles to match a specific brand voice and target audience
- Understands content flow, heading structure, and has the ability to organize and format content logically
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Preferred: Editorial or writing background
- Preferred: Experience with SEO, content, and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, WordPress)
- Nice to have: Experience in the health/wellness/pharmaceutical space
Compensation
- This a remote contract-to-hire position
- ~20 hours per week OR ~40 hours a week depending on the candidate’s availability
- $20-25 per hour
