Jo Juliana Turnbull is a freelance seo consultant and event organizer with over 20 years’ experience working in e-commerce, finance and insurance, SaaS and the travel industry. She specializes in SEO strategy, on page SEO, keyword research, competitor audits and running webinars and events through her company Turn Global.
Jo is also CIM qualified Chartered Marketer with an International MBA from Reading University and Paris Dauphine business school.
Career History
Jo has worked in SEO for over 15 years and 5 years working with SaaS. She has led teams in Sydney and London working at large multinational media agencies. After starting her career in investment banking, she now works with many finance, fintech and SaaS clients.
She provides SEO and marketing services to enterprise companies in the form of Growth Marketer or SEO consultant. She also works on short term projects such as on page content audits, competitor audits and tech audits.

Outside of work, Jo is the organiser of Search London, a networking event hosted every 12 weeks in London and Barcelona and online, bringing together people from SEO, PPC and Social Media. This is a safe place where people can learn from one another and ask questions about anything in search. She knows how difficult it can be working in search if you are the only seo or search professional in your team. Jo promotes first time speakers and has a diverse background of speakers and attendees (work and culture).
She is also the co-host of SEO Office Hours, a weekly episode where we are joined by special guests to discuss and answer SEO problems.
