Role
The Blockovate team is looking for an ambitious & hard-working Head of SEO & Content with significant experience working in crypto/blockchain marketing to join our team. Reporting directly to our CEO, the chosen candidate will be responsible for executing an SEO & content marketing strategy for the clients we work with.
As a growing company, the responsibilities will be varied, and this role will be right for you if you can work at a strategic level in search marketing and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the day-to-day execution.

Key Accountabilities
- Strategising, executing & reporting on an SEO & content strategy
- Helping set and hitting ranking & revenue based targets
- Line management & hiring of the SEO & Content team
- Working with our content agencies to deliver optimised content
- Working with our content distribution agencies to secure strong placements across numerous markets
- Deploying numerous tactics to ensure content ranks (ie. content optimisation & link building)
- Having visibility on the search landscape and ensuring we are everywhere we need to be (reviewing competitor strategies, new placements, etc.)
- Contributing to the strategic direction and organic growth of leading blockchain projects to ensure they achieve their ambitious goals
- Managing the content operation to ensure timely delivery of content against the weekly targets
Requirements
Essential
- A solid understanding of SEO and demonstrable success, ideally in a fast-paced start-up/agency environment
- 6+ years of experience in an SEO role
- Provable experience managing small teams
- Ability to work autonomously and own projects from start to finish
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage a large workload
- Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics / SEMrush / Ahrefs / Google Search Console etc.

- £80,000 – £100,000 per annum, dependent on experience
