Pay per Click Online Account Manager

The Marketing Associate I, Pay per Click/Online is passionate and knowledgeable about Search Engine Marketing and successfully driving a positive ROI. The candidate’s primary responsibilities will be creating and executing successful paid search strategies and tactics, managing online partner marketing relationships, as well as eventually managing other media acquisition channels such as email, and offline media buys. The ideal candidate will love a good challenge; have a passion for all things related to search and marketing, with their primary expertise being PPC. Candidate should have an interest in working in a fast-paced start-up environment and gaining experience in a variety of areas.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent will:
Create and manage Pay per Click campaigns in Google AdWords and Microsoft adCenter/Yahoo Search Marketing (includes keyword matching options, negative keywords, and geo-targeting).
Conduct advanced keyword research and develop keyword lists of targeted search terms that are relevant to the industry.
Provide bid and ad management/optimization on a regular basis to achieve maximum efficiency and targeted CPA.
Analyze PPC campaign results using search engine portal data as well as Google Analytic data and make campaign adjustments accordingly.
Develop PPC strategies to improve and expand PPC campaigns on an ongoing basis with evolving industry changes.
Implement A/B and Multivariate testing.
Develop and manage successful display advertising campaigns via search engines and 3rd party vendors.
Manage online partner marketing relationships (affiliates).
Create analytical weekly/monthly and quarterly reports that measure search engine marketing efforts
Assist Online Marketing and Web manager with SEO opportunities, content development, usability and new functionality to provide a better user experience.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
3+ years SEM experience either client side or agency. Consumer retail or other service related industry desired.
1-2 years experience with project coordination/management methods required
Recently certified in Google AdWords, Microsoft adCenter, and Google Analytics.
History of using Google Website Optimizer
Proficiency in MS Excel is a must.
Strong coummication skills, including grammar and spelling, in order to skillfully write creative copy.
Strong understanding of online marketing, strategy development and website integration
Strong analytic skills – ability to measure results and assess ongoing strategy.
Able to meet deadlines and track project status.
Natural curiosity to stay abreast of new search marketing trends and opportunities.
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
